  1. Search

    1. Enter choice of keyword, name of company/professional in the keyword search field.

    2. Select a primary and/or subcategory to be more precise with search. You may also select a province, city or rating as search criteria.
    3. (This can be left blank also)
    4. If you wish to narrow down the results of your search for display, choose how you wish to sort these results in the sort by field.

    5. When you are finished, click Search.

  3. Join ZooZu: (Register to Become a Member)

    1. First find out if you have an existing profile or not. To search for an existing profile, follow the search procedure available through the registration page.
      • If there is an existing profile, click yes and then select so you may choose it. Follow the remaining steps.

      • If there is not an existing profile, select no on registration page and follow the rest of the procedure.
    2. For personal information, list your type of entry, first name, last name, company name, phone number, email, and address. All sections with an asterisk must be filled in.
    3. For login information, choose a username and password. Then click Register To Become A Member.
    4. You will receive an email confirming your user name and password, along with additional links for upgrading your membership etc. (Back to Membership Page)

  5. Sign In:

    1. First find out if you have an existing profile or not. To search for an existing profile, follow the search procedure available through the registration page.

    2. Enter your user name, which you acquired through the registration process.

    3. Enter your password and click Login.

    4. If you forgot your password, press click here under the Login option. And if not yet a member, click Join ZooZu.

  6. Modify/Upgrade Profile:

    1. After logging in with your user name and password, you will see a member’s menu. Click Modify Profile.

    2. You can modify your profile as according to your membership level. When you are done, click Save Changes. If you want to upgrade your membership level, click Upgrade Membership.

  8. Add A Comment:

    1. If you are adding a comment from the homepage, search for the professional or company you would like to add a comment for through the search procedure.
      • Enter choice of keyword, name of company/professional or telephone number in the keyword search field.

      • Select a primary and/or subcategory to be more precise with search. You may also select a province, city or rating as search criteria.

      • If you wish to narrow down the results of your search for display, choose how you wish to sort these results in the sort by field.

      • When you are finished, click Search.

    2. When you find the company that you are looking for on the search results page, click Add Comments.

    3. Give a rating for price, customer service, professional knowledge, ethics/honesty and overall rating from 1 to 5. This step is optional. You may leave either a rating or comment, or do both.

    4. Add a comment for the profile you wish to review and then enter your email.

    5. You must agree to our Terms of Agreement before the comment can be added. Check the box offered and then click Add Comment.

    6. If you are adding a comment from the result page, you only need to follow steps 3-5.

  9. View / Reply to Comments:

    1. After logging in with your user name and password, you will see a member’s menu. Click View/Reply to Comments.

    2. Choose the sort of comments you want to view and how many comments you would like to view per page.

    3. When the desired comments show up, click Reply.

    1. Fill in your name and email, then your friend’s name and email.

  13. Membership Upgrade:
    You can move from basic level to advance level proceed as follows:
    1. After Sign In, click Upgrade Membership, choose the type from Exposure, Priority Placement and / or Advance Level Keywords. You can choose one or more options from these three main categories.
    2. Choose your form of credit card payment and state your credit card number. Choose the correct expiration date and click Request Membership Change.

  15. Change Password: (Administrative Use)

    1. After logging in, click Change Your Password.
    2. Type in your new password and then type it a second time to confirm the password. Then click Change Password.
    3. When the desired comments show up, click Reply.


  16. View / Add / Modify/ Delete / Admin Users: (Administrative Use)

    • This feature will be used to change the privileges given to different administrative users. In order to do that, follow the given procedures:
      1. After logging in, click View/Add/Modify/Delete/Admin Users. It will bring up a page that lists all existing Admin Users, along with the option of adding new Admin Users.

      2. User ID, User Name, Password and highlighted privileges will appear on the displayed list. Every entry will have two options to Edit and Delete. In order to edit any member, click Edit to show all selectable fields. If you select Delete, the system will ask you to confirm deleting the user.

      3. In order to add a new User, type in the User name and Password. Press Add New Administrator.

      4. The new Admin User will become a part of the list displayed and their privileges can then be edited through clicking on Edit.


  17. Approve / Deny Membership Upgrades: (Administrative Use)

      This feature will be used when any Admin User receives a request from any member of the site for upgrading the existing membership. In order to proceed further, follow the given procedures:
      1. After logging in, click Approve/Deny Membership Upgrades. The screen will give you the option of choosing All Members, Specific Member or Members Awaiting Membership Change Approval (which will be selected by default).

      2. Click View next to each member’s name/company to see the details of that member requesting for membership upgrade.

      3. After viewing the details of the every member, close the View box and click on the option Modify Membership Type. Confirm the payment information that shows up. Change the membership level and expiry date and press Update Membership Type. This action will generate an automated message to the member confirming the level upgrade.
  18. View / Add / Modify / Delete Countries: (Administrative Use)

    • This feature will be used when adding or deleting a country in our database. In order to do that, follow the given procedures:
      1. After logging in, click View/Add/Modify/Delete Countries. It will bring up a page that lists all existing countries, along with the option of adding new countries. There will be two options to Edit or Delete.

      2. In order to edit any country, Click Edit to and this will show all selectable fields. If you select Delete, the system will ask you to confirm deleting the country.
      3. In order to add a new country, type in the country name and press Add Country.

  19. View / Add / Modify / Delete Provinces: (Administrative Use)


      This feature will be used when adding or deleting a province in our database. In order to do that, follow the given procedures:
      1. After logging in, click View/Add/Modify/Delete Provinces. Select the country you want to list your provinces/states from and the number of provinces/states you want listed on each page. It will bring up a page that lists all existing provinces/states, along with the option of adding new provinces/states. There will be two options to Edit or Delete.

      2. In order to edit any province/state, click Edit and this will show all selectable fields. If you select Delete, the system will ask you to confirm deleting the province/state.

      3. In order to add a new province/state, type in the country and province/state name and press Add New Province.


  20. View / Add / Modify / Delete Cities: (Administrative Use)

    • This feature will be used when adding or deleting a city in our database. In order to do that, follow the given procedures:
      1. After logging in, click View/Add/Modify/Delete Cities. Select the country and province you want to view or edit cities from and number of cities you want listed on each page. A page will appear listing all existing cities, along with the option of adding new cities. There will be two options to Edit or Delete.

      2. In order to edit any province, click Edit and this will show all selectable fields. If you select Delete, the system will ask you to confirm deleting the city.

      3. In order to add a new city, type in the country, province and city name. Press Add New City.


  21. View / Add / Modify / Delete Primary Categories: (Administrative Use)

    • This feature will be used when an Admin User needs to add or delete any primary categories from our database. In order to do that, follow the given procedures:

      1. After logging in, click View/Add/Modify/Delete Primary Categories. Select the number of categories you wanted listed on each page. A page will appear listing all existing primary categories, along with the option of adding new primary categories. There will be two options to Edit or Delete.

      2. In order to edit any primary category, click Edit to show all selectable fields. If you select Delete, the system will ask you to confirm deleting the primary category.

      3. In order to add a new primary category, type in the category name and press Add Category.


  22. View / Add / Modify / Delete Sub Categories: (Administrative Use)

    • This feature will be used when an Admin User needs to add or delete any sub categories from our database. In order to do that, follow the given procedures:
      1. After logging in, click View/Add/Modify/Delete Sub Categories. Select the primary category you are searching for sub categories under and the number of sub categories you want listed on each page. A page will appear listing all existing sub categories that you have chosen, along with the option of adding new sub categories. There will be two options to Edit or Delete.

      2. In order to edit any sub category, click Edit to show all selectable fields. If you select Delete, the system will ask you to confirm deleting the sub category.

      3. In order to add a new sub category, type in the primary category and sub category you wish to add. Press Add Sub Category.

17) Search-Definition and Description

Search in ZooZu database means to help users find individuals or companies through keyword search, where they can search either by using a word of their choice or by the name of the individual or company they are seeking for.

Users can narrow their search by choosing a province, city, primary and sub categories. If users wish, they may also sort by reference to ratings, in either ascending or descending orders. In our database, users will be able to find the exact individual or profession they are looking for, the rating they are given and be able to make a dependable decision.

Comments are reviews and opinions on one member left by other members of the web site They can be either positive or negative comments. All comments will be accepted from users as long as it is without profanity and/or false accusations. Aside from leaving comments, members can also rate the individual or company they are commenting on. While it is not necessary that members have to both rate and leave a comment, it is recommended that they do so because a combination of the both allows other members or users to see the true skills and qualities of the individual or company commented on.

24) What do I get with My Basic Membership

This is a FREE Level, your following information is displayed:

  1. Your and/or Your Company's Name
  2. Phone Numbers
  3. Fax Numbers
  4. Addresses (including city, province,postal code)
  5. Email Addresses

With this displayed information, you will be able to reply to any comment, receive and automated message via email and edit or upgrade your posted profile.

24) How can I increase my exposure on the site

This is a PAID Level, it helps you to increase your visibility on the site, In addition to the information given in the BASIC LEVEL, you get:

1.Full Detailed Page

(Highlights, Detailed Information about you or your business, Years in Business, Write about Qualifications, etc.)

2.Your Web site links are displayed

3.Upload a picture or company Logo

24) Priority Placement

This is a PAID feature, this option will enable a member to place its profile (company or individual) on priority on the result pages. When any visitor makes a search then depending upon the priority opted by the member (city, area or province) the profile will be placed on the first page on the search results.This option can be selected in combination with the "Maximize your exposure" or just with the information provided in the BASIC LEVEL. You can pick one of the following options:

  1. City with Random Placement: This selection will put their profile (individual or company) randomly in the first page of the results; when search is initiated for the city for which the member opted to be randomly placed.Top
  2. Area with Random Placement: This selection put their profile (individual or company) randomly on the first page of the results; when the search is initiated for the area (area will contain up to five cities of member's choice) the member opted to be randomly placed.Top
  3. Province with Random Placement: Similarly, if someone opts to be randomly placed for a province, the profile will be displayed randomly on the first page of the results.Top
 

25) Advance Keywords

This is a PAID feature, this option will make a member's profile more "search friendly". A member will be able to choose keywords up to 300 characters or 25 words.

This feature can be combined with Priority Placement feature, and or with the "Maximize your exposure" or just with the information provided in the BASIC LEVEL. You can pick one of the following options:

  1. Advance Keywords limited with Sub Category Selection: If opted for this the member will be able to choose up to 300 characters or 25 words related to their business or service along with one sub category (this is the sub category for which the member is already registered)when any visitor enters any key word, the member's profile will be displayed depending upon the priority placement selection (if there is any). The search will be dependent upon the sub category selected by the visitor.
  2. Advance Keywords limited with Primary Category: This is one level higher than the previous option, the member will be found on the result page when the visitor enters the keyword (from the list of the keywords) and selects the primary category in which the business or service is registered. Regardless which sub category is selected the member's profile will be displayed.
  3. Advance Keywords (Independent): This the most advance feature in relation with the keyword search, if opted for this the member will be found with the keyword regardless of any primary category selection or even without the category selection.

26) Making Combinations from the Features:

The best thing about the site is that you can make any combinations from all the features offered, depending upon your requirement and budget.

The basic membership is given free, with this basic free membership you can choose any combination, one can choose "Maximize your Exposure" and pick any one type of Priority Placement and/or one type of Advance Keywords. Even one does not have to pick the "Maximize your Exposure" can only pick any one type of Priority Placements or any one type of Advance Keywords only.

The combinations can be changed (upgraded or downgraded) any time, the member can log in to the site with user name and password, and can make the changes according to requirements.

27) Uploading Picture or Logo

Uploading the picture or logo on to the site is very easy, just sign in with the user name and password, from member's menu select "Upgrade/Modify Profile" scroll down the page and look for the section which says "Upload Image" click this button and browse the picture or logo from your computer.
