Keyword spamming occurs when members place names or other inappropriate keywords in the title or in the content of their detailed page or in highlights for the purpose of gaining attention or diverting members to a guide. The text member’s place in a review must be directly relevant to their profession. The text member’s place in a detailed page must be directly relevant to their company or profession. Keyword spamming is not permitted in ZooZu.
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
- Review or membership cancellation
- Listing cancellation
- Forfeit of membership fees on cancelled listings
- Limits on account privileges
- Loss of ratings
- Account suspension

Some Examples
The following are examples of reviews or pages that are not permitted on ZooZu:
- Lists of words: The inclusions of a list of words as a means to attract viewers via ZooZu search engines to a review or page.
Example: “oil reproductions, art recreations, gallery, art gallery, impressionist, impressionism, oil paintings, reproduction, painting, recreation, copy, quality, reproductions, recreations, realistic, copies, paintings, old maters, replica, poster, prints, video….”
The inclusion of words that are used to promote the seller’s other ZooZu listings.
Example: “Please view my ZooZu listings for Beanie Babies, vintage Barbie’s, Rolex watches and Channel scarves.”
- Hidden HTML text: Members may include hidden text (for example “white on white”) or source tags (meta or header tags). However, such text may not include any keywords or be used as a means of promoting a page. Keywords “hidden” within the title, description or through other means are not allowed.
Why does ZooZu have this Policy?
Keyword spamming results in a poor-finding experience for members,
since keyword spamming returns reviews and pages
in which the member may have no interest.

Misleading Titles
Members are not permitted to create titles for their pages that do not accurately describe the purpose of the page.
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

- A page title that references designer watch repair in an effort to get members to read a political diatribe.
- A page title on the best places to eat in San Francisco that is really an attempt to criticize one restaurant in San Francisco.

Pages with misleading titles results in members finding pages in which the member may have no interest.
